Wacom Cintiq will not show up on PCs

At all the Cinitq stations in school there's a black adapter with two similar ends attached to the Cintiq's white adapter.To plug directly into your PC remove that black adapter and attach the Wacom DVI-VGA adapter you checked out and you'll be able to work on the Cintiq.

The black adapter is a DVI-I to a DVI-D adapter that allows Mac users to hook up their laptops using the Apple display adapters without damaging the 4 tiny analog pins in the DVI-I cable. These analog pins are required to display on computers with VGA input which are not on the DVI-D end of the adapter.
