Internet interruption of service: Friday, Nov. 8th @ 4:00pm

Tomorrow afternoon, Friday Nov. 8th at 4:00pm we will experience a 5-10 minute interruption of service of our general internet access.

I will be swapping out our current premise equipment that connects MIAD's network to that of Wiscnet, our internet service provider. The new equipment will give us better access to our available bandwidth and somewhat speed up much of the traffic we send and receive from the internet.

This interruption of service will not affect MIAD's phones, lighting, water or the direction of flow of the Milwaukee River. But it will curtail access to any collections of cat videos not stored on MIAD's internal network.
