Autodesk has created a cloud rendering service to use with Revit Architecture. This service is a beta and is not to be considered complete. Anyone may sign up for a trial and submit their projects to render. The trial includes 15 free rendering units, however, there is currently no way to purchase additional rendering units. This service may change and/or may become unavailable at any time.
one unit = one rendered view
To sign up go to http://rendering.360.autodesk.com and click on “Create Account.”
Once you have signed up you will see two options to render. You may upload a DWG or eTransmit (ZIP) file, or you may download and install an Add-In for Revit 2012 Update 2 that adds a button called “Render in the Cloud” on the Online tab of the Revit 2012 ribbon. Click on “Download Rendering Add-in” to download the second option. Before you install this Add-in, be sure to upgrade your installation of Revit 2012 to Update 2. You can find the Revit 2012 Update 2 installer for both the x86 and x64 platforms at the address below.
