Firefox is back (with reduced functionality)

The Firefox browser has returned to the MIAD Computer labs.  As before, the IT department recommends Firefox as the preferred browser for accessing Moodle and Zimbra (courses.miad.edu and zmail.miad.edu).

However, because of the problem with the way the Firefox interacts with our Apple networking system, we have taken away some of its functionality.  In our current set-up, when you move to a different computer, Firefox will open up as "new browser"--it won't remember your bookmarks, home page, history, etc.  We are working on solutions to this problem.

Check out delicious.com for a web-based bookmarking system!  If you use delicious, you'll be able to access your bookmarks from any computer.
