Zmail Switch

To best facilitate having all of MIAD on the new email system and having the ability to communicate effectively with our new students, all FirstClass accounts will be cut-over to Zmail on Friday, August 21st, 2009.  This means that after the 21st, all of MIAD will begin to use http://zmail.miad.edu as their MIAD email portal.

For logging in, please use:

    * Username:your full first name and last name (no spaces)
    * Password: the same password you have used for access to the open lab computers or to Moodle.

If you don't have or can't remember this password, please contact Tech Services at 414.847.3220 (x3220 inside of MIAD) or stop by the Tech Services desk on the 2nd floor of MIAD's main building.

Your email address will change to firstnamelastname@miad.edu, but you will always be be able to receive email at the old MIAD email address of first initial & last name. If you prefer your old email address, you may continue to use it.

At the time of the cut-over, we will provide a guide for moving your existing email from FirstClass to Zmail.

Additional training will be available.  Please contact Kim Tondryk for a list of available dates & times.

NO INFORMATION WILL BE LOST when email service is swung to Zmail. We will simply start delivering all mail to the new server. The FirstClass server will be available as an archive server until Dec. 31st, 2009.
