This summer MIAD will be transitioning to a new login system. This will allow us to meet the future needs of the institution as we grow. We wanted to start communicating early on what to expect.
What does this mean to me?
At a later date you will be sent simple instructions on how to create a password for the new login system, and when the transition will take place. On the day this occurs you will use your current login name (firstnamelastname) and the new password you have chosen. Everything else will remain the same.
Where can I get information on the transition to the new login system?
We will email you directly and also post information on support.miad.edu. Keep an eye on these two locations for details.
As always we are here help and/or to answer any questions you may have.

We're making some radical changes to improve the wireless signal in the building. However, in our efforts to improve wireless for laptops, mobile devices will get kicked off alpha. Instead, connect your mobile devices to alpha2. If you are in an area where you cannot pick up alpha, connect to alpha2 as well. Radical!

Autodesk has created a cloud rendering service to use with Revit Architecture. This service is a beta and is not to be considered complete. Anyone may sign up for a trial and submit their projects to render. The trial includes 15 free rendering units, however, there is currently no way to purchase additional rendering units. This service may change and/or may become unavailable at any time.
one unit = one rendered view
To sign up go to http://rendering.360.autodesk.com and click on “Create Account.”
Once you have signed up you will see two options to render. You may upload a DWG or eTransmit (ZIP) file, or you may download and install an Add-In for Revit 2012 Update 2 that adds a button called “Render in the Cloud” on the Online tab of the Revit 2012 ribbon. Click on “Download Rendering Add-in” to download the second option. Before you install this Add-in, be sure to upgrade your installation of Revit 2012 to Update 2. You can find the Revit 2012 Update 2 installer for both the x86 and x64 platforms at the address below.

Once you have installed Update 2 and the Rendering Add-In, read the information provided at the link below before submitting any jobs to the 360 Rendering service.

Be careful printing images. Our printing system has a bug where certain JPEG files fail to print when the print is sent from the Preview application. We are working hard to resolve this issue, but have yet to find a solution. In the meantime, please use Photoshop to print all JPEGs.
If you have printed from Preview and your image failed to print, you must go to DigiCopy for a refund.
Thank you.
